SAP uAcademy

SAP education has launched a unique initiative- SAP uAcademy Program- to ensure that it is building an ecosystem of skilled SAP resources. Launched in select colleges and universities in the sub-continent by SAP India Education, the Training Program will, for the first time, enable even fresh graduates to be SAP certified and equipped with a fundamental understanding of SAP and its various modules, so that when they go into industry , they can be active on a project from Day 1.

Telecom Training : TT011 : Wireless Telecom Technologies.

Objective: Focuses on the basic electronics involved in mobile communication, GSM internals, Introduction to GPS & other vital tools used in the transmission. Radio frequency planning, execution and optimization in GSM network.

Course Content:
Module I: Telecom Essential Telecom in India and Evolution, Basic Telecom Services, Telecom Bodies, Digital Communication, Sampling, Digital Pulse code Modulation, FEK and PSK, Telecom Services and Networks, Telecom Switching and Signaling, Introduction of Network Planning.

Module II: GSM System Engineering Introduction of GSM, GSM Frequency Bands,GSM Services, Architecture of GSM Network, Channel Concepts, Radio and Air Interface, Traffic Interface, GSM Identities.

Module III: RF Engineering RF Fundamentals, RF survey, Planning and Optimization of GSM Network.

Module IV: Transmission Engineering Microwave Radio Basics, Modulation scheme, Equipment Configuration, MW Planning Basics, Path Profile, Wave Propagation, RL Tool Working.

Module V: Telecom Network Management Unix Fundamental, X.25, Network Management System, Management Reports and Sub Reports, Traffic Recording.

Module VI: Operation and Maintenance Classification of Faults, O&M Philosophy, O & M Telecommunication Network, O& M Support System.

Eligibility: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Instrumentations and Electrical Engineering discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Final year students with good Academic track record can also apply.
